Talk about baptism by fire — before her one-year anniversary at Internet performance company Dyn, Colleen Karpinsky Cone had led two company acquisitions and a $38 million growth equity investment.
She survived unsinged, and three years later is still with the firm. As vice president of talent and culture for a 450-person company, Cone, 35, leads the organization’s recruiting and retention practices as well as handles day-to-day operations.
Before joining Dyn, she was a lawyer at the McLane Law Firm and Irving Oil Corp., experiences that have helped her tackle tricky legal issues and guide clients through company crises. In her spare time, she serves as secretary of the Manchester Youth Professionals Network, an organization dedicated to making New Hampshire attractive to young talent.
